The WePower event was the conclave of women academicians from the University as along with the women entrepreneurs. The event was organised by Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam Center of Excellence in Innovation and Entrepreneurship in association with SIAWED (Southern Industrial Academy for Women Entrepreneur Development). The event was chaired by Mrs. M. Jayamary, Director, AIMED Institute of Foreign Languages, Mrs. Latha Pandiarajan, Co founder, MaFoi Management Consultants, Mr. C.K. Kumaravel, CEO, Natural Salon and Spa and by Prof. Nellai Subbiyah, Nagaichuvai Pattimandra Pechalar. The process of Women Empowerment was informed through the identification of their inner strength, opportunities for growth, and their role in reshaping their own destiny. Competitive events like collage competition for Balance for better and cultural events for teaching and non-teaching faculty was organised. The event was a hit informing the academic women and entrepreneurs celebrating their achievements.
