The program started with a networking session with the delegates. Dr. J. Arun Kumar, Asso. Prof (IBT), Faculty Coordinator – Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Center had delivered the welcome address. Dr. Rama Vaidyanathan, Director (R&D) welcomed the new Cohort of DST NewGen IEDC with a motivational talk.
Dr. S. Geethalakshmi, Vice Chancellor – Dr. MGR Educational & Research Institute has delivered the special address for the program.
Prof. M. Prabhu, Dean – Hotel Management (Dr. MGR ERI) gave the introductory address. The chief guest of the day, Dr. Mylswamy Annadurai, Vice President – Tamilnadu State Council for Science and Technology. Dr. Mylswamy Annadurai gathered the audience with his wonderful talk about his research experience and entrepreneurship which motivated the young minds. Dr. Mylswamy Annadurai has inaugurated the 3rd Batch of Dr. MGR DST NewGen IEDC.
Dr. S. Manivannan, Dean – Phase II campur (Dr. MGR ERI) gave the felicitation address. A workshop on Customer Discovery was conducted by Mr. Shashank Rajurkar – Mentor for startups. Dr. N. Subhashree, Dean (H&S) – Dr. MGR ERI gave the vote of thanks.
